HIGH PERFORMANCE TEAM SIMULATION
In 2009, a small team decided to take part in the world’s toughest endurance contest,
The Volvo Ocean Race. A 20,000 mile circumnavigation of the globe.
In 2015, on their third attempt, they WON.
Their winning campaign produced not only the trophy, but a unique study into the workings of a high performance team, carried out in real-time by a top business school.
The study goes beyond the well-established link between elite sport and the corporate world and covers a 22-month long campaign, from team set up through to victory. The World Ocean Race Corporate Challenge brings these two seminal achievements together in a leadership and high performing team activator.
Uncover the reality of winning teams, with the very people who went to the ends of the earth, and returned victorious.
Co-hosted by Jamie Boag, Team Director of Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing, the programme is inspired by real life challenges the team faced during their winning campaign of the Volvo Ocean Race, and the learnings derived from their two prior attempts.
